That made me smile quite a bit and the graphics were great. Stealing some of the icons especially the fortune hug soulmates.

This quote

“Nope,” Chloe said with an exaggerated ope. “I learnt my lesson the last time I faked my death. Always tell Martha Kent everything. Did you know I got to play White Queen to her Red Queen? We ladies got our work cut out for us, protecting you.”

“I don’t need protection." Clark heard himself say. Did he mean to sound like a four-year-old on the verge of tantrum?

YESSSSSS, he always needs them to cover him

Thank you for letting me take part and I'm really relieved you enjoyed this. If you ask Dee, you'll know I was freaking out when she sent me the assignment. I find it really hard to disregard canon and so the clauses, not the mention the fact who I was writing for, completely blew my mind. I either go totally AU or follow canon. And I just didn't have the time to research and develop a good AU. So thank you so much. Seeing your comment really just calmed me down. Honestly, even after I sent my stuff through to Dee, I was still stressing.

Internally I kept saying, "Well if anything, she'll love the art."

Yes, Clark would have been in a lab or dead several times over if weren't for Martha and Chloe.

Oh and the wedding manip was by Tehzo. I tried, but my kids told me I made Chloe look like a granny, so no one else is seeing that version, ever!

That round-about quote was inspired by Janette Oke's Love Comes Softly.

I'm humbled and happy that you loved reading it. I was hoping even with the emotional and sensitive subject matter that there would be at least some lighter moments to balance it out.

Thank you for reading and sending your thoughts. :hugs:

Yep, poor Jonathan. There was no way he was going to risk trying to manoeuvre his hands around Diana/Wonder Woman's arms.

And we have tehzo to thank for the beautiful Chlark wedding manip.

I loved the art and the fic. Still cracking up at the thought of Clark's morning school run. :D

The school run was inspired by a dad I saw riding to school with his son and his daughter. The son's bike got left at school for him to do the afternoon pick up, but he had to ride home towing an empty carriage and I thought, as I was driving, that is so something I could imagine Clark doing. He could speed them to school in a flash, but he wouldn't, especially if it's not an ability they had developed yet or risk the exposure.

Also, he'd probably look at it a good time to spend family bonding. But yeah, I also had a mental giggle thinking, imagine Superman riding a bike. It's almost as ridiculous as Flash owning a car or a Flash motorcycle ;)

I hope tehzo sees all the love her manip is getting. She did a fantastic job.

Thank you for the feedback. Very glad to see you liked it.

Awwwww. This was a good read and it certainly had a happy ending for everyone. (Well, maybe not Oliver, but I assume he hooked up with Dinah and they're happy together.

Nice job on the graphics. That Fortune hug is a really good hug.

SV Oliver might be a bit of a drama queen but he also has this survivor and optimistic quality to him. That he'll always pick himself up and find something to live and fight for. It's why Justin Hartley's Oliver will always be my favourite. :)

And yep, I'll assume he re-kindled things with Tess, or found a way to get Lois settle down. I never felt any chemistry between Dinah and Oliver on SV.

The Fortune hug brought me back to the good old days of the Chlark Scoobying. I couldn't not use it since it revealed everything I've always believed about the two of them. This deep undeniable connection, commitment and love.

We have tehzo to thank for the gorgeous wedding graphic. I love her work. She makes photo magic.
