2pm Meta Cont.

Taecyeon
could have a very open intepretation of his personality. A lot of people see one of two sides; him being a playboy, asshole that will do whatever he wants and anything he wants to get ahead or this giant teddy bear thats wrapped in a beastly package. I can pretty much see him as both...and not in a bioplolar sort of way or anything.

With him, how he acts on television is pretty damn close to who he is. He does know what to play up for the public, but he's pretty damn near close to what he plays up. In real life I can see him randomly acting cute to get what he wants (often failing...especially with other 2pm members) and you can see when he's not really on screen, such as back stage or out of shot, he still tends to do cute things. He does play it up on television because the public seems to like this, that also happened with 2pm's whole ripping off shirts, walking chippendales "phase" (which, I would like to say, was an act of desperation, but more by JYPE. After it happened once, he realized how much the public liked it and they kept it going because they needed fans with the Jay scandal happening during that time). He stated during then, like Heartbeat and partial Without U, that he didn't really want to do it and he wanted to go back to how they were before. Even though he's pretty fine with airing out compliants (said on Happy Together, he's the one that complains to JYP the most) he's still pretty respectful, but he still loves to tease people which could make him seem like a flirt and a playboy. I can see him getting along with women fairly well and some guys too, but a lot might be slightly annoyed with how he acts.

The side that's...not so friendly is only if you're stupid enough to cause it. It's like getting on his bad side or getting him angry, which I see as a very hard thing to do. Taecyeon is either the nice guy that bundles everything in and ends up exploding....or he's the guy who holds everything in and plans things for a long time before dropping a bomb on you. I can see him being very scary when he gets angry and even frightening people. Though, he's very good at taking in everything and calming himself down or just knowing not to let his emotions take hold of him and do something rash. On the same token, he keeps a lot of things inside which could make him like a ticking time bomb. He does have ways to out let this stress out though, so I doubt he's ever really exploded in anger.  The best way I can think of showing you is that didn't the Jay scandal happen around the same time Taecyeon went buff? Isn't exercise a good way to release stress?

Also, if you do manage to get him angry he is very smart enabling him to be very manipulative if he wants to. This could possibly tick people off that he can have some power, but it's not really that. He can just figure out a situation and change it so it's better for him if he wants.

Taecyeon is also a person who tries really hard at everything and he wants to get something to the best that he can before giving up. He does know himself fairly well and can tell what he's good at and what he's not, but if the public wants something he will try his best to give it. However, sometimes he'll overdo something until you never want for it to happen again (ripping his shirt is one) and he's never really sure when he goes to far or not.

I think he likes to protect himself in relationships and especially now, he seems to keep his part in it sort of hidden. The best I can say is Nichkhun did cling to him at first because of his ability to talk Korean and English, though he was jealous of Khun's ease in getting by people. I think he really wanted to be able to do what Nichkhun sort of didn't want to be able to do. Junsu and him I sort of explained before, I don't think he sees Junsu as a hyung...or Khun, or Jay. Especially since Khun and Jay really had to depend on him instead of the other way around. He's also pretty close with Chansung because they're probably the jokster of the group and get along well. Junho he probably likes to tease a lot and Wooyoung I am not too sure about. I think that the best relationship he had was with Jay and their friendship was the closest in the group. It did shake him when Jay left, which is probably why he withdrew a bit from everyone else and I can see it being they said something that angered him and he kept everything in.

Wooyoung
is a two-faced person and how I describe him might be a bit negative, but he's not evil at all to me...he'd just plain hard to pinpoint. Everyone should know he's not actually the cute, funny, nice guy that he plays on shows. Inside he's very level-headed and sort of cold when you first meet him and it's pretty much due to him trying to be a professional. As soon as he's off the stage he's determining what he could have done better and what he did wrong. It's hard for him to trust anyone easily and he often gives bad first impressions, but he is far from mean. It takes him far longer to warm up to people and it's simply that he's naturally a solitary person and he wants to protect himself. He also has a humor that can rub people the wrong way, if he opens his mouth he might just bite with some of the thing he says. Most of his humor is really funny....if you're not the root of it.

His friends obviously got used to him quick, but he really changes once he knows you and can feel safe around you. He's a very orderly person who wants order and cleanliness, making him a bit of a nag. He also worries a lot and can over think things sometimes and usually it's something stemming from himself but can affect the whole group (like how he's acting on a television show, such as how can he seem funnier so 2pm has a positive image.) He tends to be very protective of himself and his close friends with him being a worrier. His personality reminds me a bit of a mom (which really didn't occur to me before, he wouldn't exactly seem like the most caring mother) since he tends to nag, but at the same time worries about you and is very protective of you. He also seems to be very empathetic and intuitive and cheers people up by turning on his show side. When he becomes comfortable with a person, I think it will be really hard to break that bond and if it does he regresses. (With the Jay scandal he kind of was very very serious on shows even and didn't seem to "care" is the best way I can put it). I think the reason he's really protective of his friends is for selfish reason, he doesn't want them to fall because when they do he might too. Because of this fear he doesn't go out of his way to make friends and he's not very trustworthy and will never let himself go.

His relationships are a bit skewed which is why I said I'd put Khunyoung here. I'm pretty sure Wooyoung was the most resentful that Khun got where he is just based on his looks and not that much talent. Though, he saw how popular the guy was within the group and it's not to say everytime he was clinging onto Khun was because the man was popular but sometimes he gave a little extra push. With the actual introduction of Khunyoung, it allowed him to be near where the camera was sure to be angled because the fans wanted it and he was pushing it for the fans (which he was, but he had a little motive in there somewhere). I'm completly sure that if this had bothered Nickhun, Wooyoung would have stopped, though they did seem to become better friends because of it. Lately, it's stopped and thats either because of Khun being involved in We Got Married or Wooyoung just not needing it anymore, but they're still pretty close.

Junho and Wooyoung share a room (even though Wooyoung pretty much sleeps on the floor outside) and like Taec and Junsu, they're pretty similiar. They have some of the same insecurities and they have similiar outlets and they both seem to have a cold personality just on opposite sides. I would say Chansung and Wooyoung are awkward, but it's not that bad they're probably just not close. Wooyoung seems to respect Junsu, but not really see him as a hyung and Taec and Wooyoung seem close, but they just don't show it.

Junho
seems to be mass avoided by the fandom, haha. I think in the beginning he was sort of hiding his personality becuase he didn't think it was any good, so he was showing off his serious mature side. It's also not that he isn't funny, he just tries too hard when he's out of the loop and that's because he really does crave attention. The group is pretty popular and I'm partially sure Junho is the least popular member right now, I have no idea why he's really sweet and nice. I think the afflicition with doing a meta on him is he's pretty similar to Wooyoung and Junsu, combine those two and his personality is pretty close.

He has a lot of insecurities, but he can hide them well. At first, he was happy to look like Rain because he looked like a star and the people liked him because of it. Though, once he realized that was all he was becoming known for he didn't want to be seen as a copy of Rain but as his own person, so he ditched the image (still he makes jokes). I also think he doesn't want to reach popularity because of someone, he wants to get everything because he earned it. Now that would have caused him to resent Khun if he didn't realize some people just get it better, which makes Junho mature in a lot of ways. Don't even doubt that he was a bit pissed Khun was getting a lot of the popularity due to nothing but looks, but at the same time he didn't resent the man for it because he really can't do anything about it.

Junho is also a bit of a protective guy too, except not exactly in the way Wooyoung is. Junho wants to protect his image more then himself and I think his obsession is that he worked so hard to get to be an idol and everything really depends on the people's reaction to you. So, to some extent, he doesn't really mind if he's not that popular as long as the group does well, but he does really want to be known more for who he is then being seen as "the rain looking guy in 2pm." To be honest, all of the guys would rather be known as themselves then just "that one guy who's part of 2pm" because everyone wants an identity to their name.

He's very hard on himself I think and due to that he tries to get everything exactly perfect. It's what started to negativly effect his variety show status because they get scripts, but because he would stick to those it wasn't very funny at all. Though, the reason he stuck to the script was because he was doing what he was supposed to which was act out a script. The thing is, as soon as they would stop filming he'd be all smiles and jokey, but most of all he's very very random and cute when there isn't something for him to focus on and perfect. Like in Real 2pm with the Harry Potter thing, I don't think they have a script for that show and he just randomly decided to get on a broom and roam around. I think, if something is put in front of him that has to do with the show he'll over-think and force himself to keep to that because that's the structure for the show. He can't do the "this is what the outline is now let me fill it in with my own things" he either has to have a complete script or nothing. Lately, I'll be back promotions, he is really hardly there and he's just non-existent to me.

His best relationship is probably with Chansung since they are the two youngest, but I think it's more to a testament of him being the older one. He wants to be there for someone in a way, like he gets attention from Chansung a lot because he's a hyung but very close to the magnae's age. They relationship is close but very hard for me to describe.

He gets along with Junsu, and I think he might be the only one that sees Junsu as a hyung and that's because he'll automatically think anyone older then him is a hyung in an old fashioned/respecting sort of way. I used to think him and Khun didn't get along, but not anymore. Nichkhun seems to be going over to him a lot and in a sense moving away from Wooyoung and it's probably more because Junho seems to be getting pushed aside. (This could speak that Khun is trying to help Junho on his ambitions, but I don't think so. Junho doesn't want to be helped to get known, he'll get there his own way...hopefully). What I said about the hyung thing is a bit incorrect because he doesn't call Wooyoung hyung, but they're pretty close (less then a year) in age and they're pretty close in general.

Chansung
has an outer and inner shell to him. On the outside he can seem kind of....dumb, for lack of a better word. He's really spacey and I can see him as someone who will focus on something really hard and as soon as he's done just be staring off into the distance. I think if he's trying to concentrate on something boring he'll definitely space out, but if it's exciting or it's for something he'll be very focused on it and complete it.

On the inside, he's very intuitive; he'll adjust to a situation very quickly and then make sure everyone else adjusts as quick as they possibly can. He does it in small ways like if he sees someone struggling he'll automatically help and not even give it a second thought. It's not that he's smartly coming up in his head that the person A is struggling so he has to do this, it's just instantaneous which is very rare to see (at least for me). He also seems to be a mood maker with his ability to adjust, if the moods falling he'll do something stupid to bring it back up and if everything perfectly fine he'll slink into the background until he's called upon or something changes. To him seeing everyone else happy makes him a lot happier.

All together, he's simply a nice one in the group that just is a bit spacey. He's also kind of random and jumpy and his personality seems to be his own, not that played up for the fans.

As you can see I am very limited in my knowledge of how Chansung is, that's more to do with me then him being on shows. He has no best relationship, but he's probably the best friends with Taec and Junho. I think he sort of wanted to help Junho with his "not in the spotlight" issue so kind of brought Junho to the spotlight through him, but it didn't tend to work. Now he's very much a background player and making sure everyone else is doing well.
