I'd never seen this pairing written before, and I was afraid nobody would read it. Glowing, unfy, brain-goopy Morgan feedback is exactly the sort of validation I needed. :)

Holy crap!

This is the first time I've ever read this pairing and jeez Louise I need more. MOOOORE!

Lucifer using Sam and Dean's voice just to see if it got Castiel off? YEEEESSSSS!

Castiel could taste Heaven on the devil's lips -- ancient, intoxicating echoes of God himself -- with flickers of something deep and dark stirring beneath the surface.

This was a gorgeous line. But now I need to know exactly what that tastes like. A little like beer and Tabasco sauce, maybe? I think that's what Lucifer would taste like...

Beer and Tabasco sauce... I like the way you think. It would have to be really rich, tasty dark beer; the kind with that lovely aftertaste I can't really describe but that's about twelve shades of wonderful.

I loved this comment. If writing Cas and Lucifer will get me more feedback like this, you'd better believe I'll be churning out more! :)
In all seriousness, I wasn't expecting this pairing to be as much fun as it was. I definitely plan on writing more, a lot more, in fact.

Sweet girl, you are totally unafraid to go after every kink I have, do you know that? This was more than sinful: this was dark and rich and pure lust and I loved every word.

"Oh, Castiel, you've been ignoring your vessel's needs. That won't do one bit - the poor thing is practically starving."

That line practically killed me, it's so good. And the end is screaming for a sequel. ::looks hopeful::

I love how similar we're turning out to be.
I couldn't help turning on the dirty-talk and the wrong-hot and the super-evil-BAMF-Lucifer. That flavor of Lucifer is like BAMF!Cas; there are other ways to write the character, and they have their good points, but it's my favorite way to write him.

The temptation to write more of this pairing is almost overwhelming, but I'm afraid to try writing a sequel. I don't know how I could possibly follow this; I'm pretty much convinced that this fic was a fluke, and I have no idea how I'll write something like this again.
