Eraqus had put this off for long enough, he decided. Ever since the incident with Sora, he had been wondering what sort of darkness could cause such a reaction in him. It seemed dangerous at best, and frightening at worst...especially since these young Keybearers were supposed to help his students in the future.

He wanted to get to the bottom of this darkness, and if possible, to eradicate it. If he had to try training them some...well, he wouldn't have enough time to really fix anything that was deeply buried, but it was better than nothing. And after his failure with Terra, he wondered if he could even help in that sense. Regardless, he wanted a few answers.

Eraqus approached the hotel room where he had heard the young Keybearers were staying, and knocked softly on the door.

Sora shifted on the bed with a groan before reaching for a pillow that wasn't there - some time during the night, he had knocked all four pillows off the bed and onto the floor. Reaching for nothing, he only pulled a sheet higher over his head, blocking out the sunlight.

"Mmmff'v'mnns."

Riku sat up straight when he heard the knock on the door. He hadn't expected anyone to come over this early in the morning - maybe Kairi, but whenever she knocked, the taps were lighter and less urgent. Glancing over at Sora, he shrugged before standing up and moving over towards the door.

Swinging it open, he found himself face to face with the same man who had been in the alley when Sora had shifted to his anti-form that day. Immediately, his eyes narrowed. The aftermath of that fight had been a blur and his chief concern was getting Sora out of that alley and coercing a coherent answer out of him. He did remember that this man had tried to attack him and had done some nasty damage to Roxas in the process. He automatically shifted into a defensive posture to prevent the strange older man from entering the room.

"What do you want?"

Perhaps it was rather early, but Eraqus used to both himself and his students starting early. It didn't occur to him that these Keybearers probably didn't share his "family's" habits.

Riku appeared rather defensive the moment he opened the door and saw him. If Eraqus thought anything of this, his expression didn't indicate it.

"I wanted to speak with you." While he didn't enter and didn't try to, he could still see inside just a little, and noticed Sora sprawled across the bed. Not unlike how Ventus would sleep. "...And with Sora, if he is awake."
