The darkness was even more pronounced, now that the lights were out. It made Terra even more aware of how dangerous these streets could be but he was determined to help get rid of more of the monsters to make them safe. It wasn't like he was alone either. Aqua had decided to come with him and the light from both of their Wayfinders was at least somewhat comforting.

Terra was quiet as they walked. Most of the creatures here he had learned long ago did not function like the Unversed and in some ways that made them even more dangerous.

As they passed another of the tall Chicago buildings he felt a chill run down his spine. It was like someone had cast Blizzard directly onto his back. He glanced up at the building and then to Aqua, "Did you feel that?"

More dangerous by far. With the Unversed, there were at least patterns that they followed. With the monsters here, the only thing one could be certain of was that they wouldn't be easy to deal with. Expecting anything else was like swinging blindly into the darkness and praying to hit something.

But even with that, it was hard to miss the sudden shiver of cold, and she nodded at Terra's question.

"I'd been about to ask you the same thing, actually. Do you think we should check it out?"

It was then that the screams filled the street, echoing out of the lobby of the nearby skyscraper.

Terra's answer was cut off by the sudden piercing screams that caused an even more intense chill to roll down his spine. He could feel the hair on his arms stand on end and in an instant, bright flash of light there was a keyblade in hand. "Come on!" He rushed without thinking towards the building and into the lobby. Whatever was making that sound was not good and he planned to take care of it before it decided to start hunting people. What Terra did not know, however, was that he was probably the one they were set on hunting.
