Donna hadn't made it far from Cloud Gate yet, still being on the same block, only now sitting on a bench nearby. The phone had to have some sort of map, because she didn't exactly feel like getting lost in this place already.

Finally finding one, she mentally plotted a path from where she was, to the Blackstone, the hotel the Doctor had mentioned in response to her first post. It didn't seem to be too far, and was in a general straight line down Michigan Avenue, so she wasn't worried she'd get too lost.

She stood up and tucked her new phone in her pocket, slowly making her way towards the hotel.

Making his way quickly down the sidewalk towards the park, the Doctor very nearly passed Donna who was on the opposite sidewalk. He couldn't help but grin as he crossed the street. It was so good to see her; so very, very good.

"Well, hello there!"

So, she'd admit that she'd been zoning out. Considering she was in a new city, somewhat confused, and just trying to find her way around, she wasn't incredibly surprised. She blinked when she heard the familiar voice say something to her as she passed a man...who she really should have recognized.

"Doctor!" Surprise was evident in her voice, even if she had known he was there from the network post she had put up. It was different to see him in person, really.

Of course, it was much the same for him and yet, then some. To see the recognition in Donna's eyes was almost overwhelming. He'd really missed her, his best friend.

"Donna!"

His grin couldn't have been much bigger, as he hoped up onto the sidewalk and spread his arms open for a hug.

...Wow, a month. I FAIL.

Donna returned the hug, so very glad to see her friend again. She didn't know what was going through his mind, but she didn't really care, considering.

"So, what do you think is going on here?" She asked, stepping back again. "Is this like anything you've ever seen...or been to?"
