I see your tiger and raise you a ninja!bailarinjaJune 11 2011, 11:44:45 UTC
The Ninja-Style Dancer had been out on his own this morning, making a few rounds around the city. He had been careful of vampires thus far, thankfully; he didn't have ninja training for nothing, and he wanted to get a better idea of the city around him, if he was going to be stuck here for a while.
He noticed the odd-looking woman prowling through the streets. She looked lost and he felt a bit of concern for her and decided to investigate. He did his best to approach her quickly and carefully, making an effort not to startle her if he could help it; he had a bad habit of sneaking up on people.

Wrapped up like a shadow-warrior, the man makes a hell of an impression. But he's the first even vaguely familiar thing, and he's built like an ape of some sort, or a monkey with some leg issues, and so Tigress stopped and crouched, allowing him to come closer.
"Hold there," she says once he reaches a distance that is safely within her 'kill zone' but not close to her. "Who are you, and where am I? This is not a city I recognize at all."
It is like Lord Shen rebuilt China, sucking all of the life and poetry and history out of it.
The Ninja stopped dead in his tracks, holding his hands up for a moment in compliance. He supposed he did look a little intimidating in his all black clothes, but he couldn't exactly help it. He tilted his head at her a moment, puzzled. He had never seen a woman with the body of a tiger before. But he didn't spend too long staring, lest she misinterperet it. He reached slowly for a cue card from his pocket, unfolding it.
I am the Ninja-Style Dancer. I mean no harm.
He gave her a minute to read it, then turned it over for to answer her second question.
There is a curl of the lips; the Chinese and Japanese have never really known friendship or peace; calling himself ninja earns him the slightest curl of Tigress' lip -- fangs as impressive as any wild beast's in her mouth-- before she calms and reads his second message.
"Chi-Ka-Go? This is not a city I know. Who brought me here?"
