She couldn't help but worry after hearing that strange message of Sora's over the network--something must have happened, he hadn't responded to anyone asking after him, and... oh, it just made her so upset, to think that he could be out here, hurt or, or something...

Fluttershy had promised to Jason that she wouldn't go out alone; it was too dangerous, and she certainly didn't want to worry him or anyone else. But surely there couldn't be anything wrong with just looking around near the hotel? Just a quick look around...

The pony clopped with uncertainty into the shadows, the darkness appearing ever more unnerving. She didn't know if she'd actually heard anything back there, maybe she'd just imagined that hissing noise, but she certainly had to look. "H-hello? Is someone there...?"

It heard something move. Something just beyond the alley. Too bright.

In the darkness, further away and hidden in shadows, a pair of unsettling pupil-less eyes glowed.

Another hiss and then it was speeding towards her, low to the ground, inhumanly fast.

All this time in the city, knowing Sora was here, and what it took to get Roxas to get his butt out and look for Sora was that he might lose his chance to finally meet him. Sure, they had talked a little bit on the network, but it really wasn't the same thing. They had to meet in person. It didn't look like the circumstances were going to be good though. Given the propensity for monsters to pop out at times, Roxas already had his Keyblade out, cursing the damper the city put on peoples' powers ( ... )

A new something, coming quickly. Familiar. It was very familiar.

It was him.

Fury, boiling and white-hot, surged forth, and its guttural wordless shout preceded a firm and powerful kick to the newcomer's chest.
