6-9 Blampiers will try to ambush your group and they're going to try to surround you and take you out all at once. They also have a few renfields with them that they will probably send out first as they try to surround you. Renfields are much worse than thralled humans as they are much more violent and insane than a typical thralled human.

First, that whole thing with Babydoll and Blue, being punished for it, and then finding herself in a city because of... well, no one had really explained to her why or how she and Amber had ended up in Chicago. But there were strange people here, people she couldn't trust and not that she had made an effort to try. She had never trusted anyone - that's how you got hurt. She knew from experience... she had been the one to do the hurting.
At least it wasn't the asylum though so that was something - fresh air and certain amount of freedom if a person ignored that they were literally trapped in this godforsaken hellhole. But it was more than one building and it wasn't as if Blue and the other guards were constantly peering over their shoulders, sticking needles in their arms to subdue them, listening to Dr. Gorski's music play so she could create her own world - free of pain, free of restrictions, free of everything ( ... )

This was probably the coolest fucking thing he'd ever done. Well, 'cept for maybe that threesome with the twins, but this was a different kind of cool.
He nodded to Dean and Blondie as he approached. Blondie didn't look like the type to really do damage, but he'd seen chicks - mostly vampire chicks, yeah, but still - do some crazy stuff before, and if the axe=e was anything to go by, she was one of them. "Y'all ready?"

You were supposed to be a "surprise"/stealth team, unfortunately you're also the team to run into one of the older Black court vampries around the park, complete with magic and who is controlling several human shields, as well as, 10+ other blampires. Have fun with that.

He did turn the music off though, as he pulled up to Millennium Park.

And for that to happen, everyone had to be ready to rumble, which was Deadpool's job. He sat in the backseat loading the last of the weapons, a sawed-off shotgun, and set it down where it could be in reach. Alongside every other firearm he could dig up from the city including his new favorite the punt gun which was currently leaning against the seat with a good six feet of barrel sticking up from the car.
"Okay, we are ready to rock." He said with a grin, reaching out to pat the oversized shotgun fondly. "Nobody touches the big one, Jeanette here is all mine."

Still, she couldn't have said she entirely approved of what she saw when as she came upon the car. Carriages were bad enough but one without horses was a clear sign that someone had been getting up to no good. You wouldn't catch her dead in something like that and she wasn't even going to touch the things being loaded into the rear.
"I ain't gonna be touching 'em anyways," she answered.

Your team is dealing with 7-10 Blampiers, heavily armed and keeping several thralled humans around them as bait/shields/etc. These are tough vampires who will continue to attack even after several limbs have been lopped off. Also, you might want to watch out for any surprise renfields who are much more violent and insane than the thralled humans.

Charity, he remembered her from last time, as well. One of the few people who'd managed to leave a noteworthy impression. He didn't mind having to work with her, seeing exactly if she was able to back herself up. The kid, on the other hand, was a new one, but she sure didn't look too worried. He shrugged at her question.
"Doubt it. Dead guys have a lot of time to kill, y'know? Don't see much the point of setting up an ambush, anyway, it's gonna be a mess however they go at it."

This can make crossing difficult however it will become even more difficult once you set foot on the ice. For you see all of the humans skating around are thralled and there are at least 20. They are armed, though most of hidden the weapons under sweaters and coats...but let's not forget the ice skates they wear can be just as deadly if they know how to use them.
Standing outside the rink are at least 7 Blampires with 3 of them being magic users and they are going to do their best to keep you out on that ice.

And they had killed him.
Still, he walked among them now, coming up behind Jennifer. He had long ago lost his coat (worthless without most of it's protective wards in his many pockets) and carried only the Samaritan and the weapon he could never put down: The Right Hand of Doom.
He inhaled, exhaled. This was going to be messy. He hated dealing with thralls -- inevitably, innocent people died. Faces he couldn't forget.
"I hate vampires," is all he could mutter into the cold night air.

But, of course, she was just supposed to chill out up here until someone needed her.
"Ugggh. This is so pointless. I should be out THERE already."

The fact that she'd given her word to wait for the signal was less of concern at the moment, although she supposed she might as well wait a little longer.

"I KNOW. Those vampire guys wouldn't stand a CHANCE. I wouldn't even NEED these water balloons. I could just whip up a twister and send those suckers flying out of the park in no time!" She did a quick spin in the air, whipping up some winds as if to demonstrate. "And then you could roast'em or something and we'd be DONE." Dash waved off the roasting thing, just not as cool as what she could do.

Not to mentioned she'd always wanted to see what would happened if you mixing her fire with a good strong wind. Of course, what the pony was suggesting was nothing so grand as the divine wind, but it would be a good enough idea of what her egg would be able to do, just as soon as she was able to convince Temeraire that it would be a splendid idea. After all, it wasn't like him at all to refuse her so.
