Donna leaned against one end of the sculpture, fiddling with the cell phone like device she had found after her arrival. It had been strange to show up in a new city, but she was sort of used to it...
...but not without the TARDIS or the Doctor around.
"Oi." She muttered, waiting for responses to the post she had managed to get up on the weird network that these phones had. "This is not going to be a good adventure."
John was in the middle of replies when he heard someone else nearby. He looked around for a moment and then ducked under the structure and saw a pair of feet. Huh, another new comer I guess. He wondered if someone else from the Nightside had slipped through. Granted he couldn't tell just by the shoes.
He did a a brief moment of more poking around on this cell phone thing before getting up and going to see who was actually here, in person. He hated cell phones, he'd much rather speak with someone face to face. As soon as he was around the large bean structure he saw that it was a red-headed woman who also had a cell phone like his. "Huh. So I guess this place comes with a free cell phone for everyone then," he said to make his presence known.
"Apparently." Donna said, looking up from the cell phone. "But, it doesn't working for calls, well, international ones at least." She'd tried calling home a few times, but it wouldn't connect, at all.
"It has a decent local network though...at least from what I can see." She signed though. This wasn't her idea of a vacation, and it came at the worst time. "Let me guess, you found yourself under this metallic vegetable too?"
"I'm not much of a phone person so I'll take your word on it," John replied, figuring this woman knew what she was talking about. She sounded like she knew what she was talking about at any rate.
John gestured at the structure, "The metal bean? Yeah, other side of it actually. Not exactly helpful in trying to identify where we are surprisingly. Cities with metal bean structures just aren't coming to mind." He raised an eyebrow, "Anyone on the phone network seem to know?"
