To her credit Vin's plan to avoid her nightmares was going rather well, unfortunately that plan revolved entirely around avoiding sleep altogether. It wasn't that she was a stranger to nightmares, not at all. She had been having them all her life but they were always of vague fears. Missing a Steelpush and falling, Inquisitors creeping out of the shadows like monsters from under the bed to chase her. Things that scared the life out of you while you were sleeping but that went away when your eyes opened ( ... )

Yue's hand moved to her wand, but she quickly relaxed at the sight of Vin. That was a different way to travel, but it seemed efficient enough. "Nightmares. I'm..." Yue searched her mind for the right way to phrase what was troubling her, "trying to determine how important they are."

Yue's heart raced as part of her nightmare forced itself back to her conscious mind, the one of her running. It felt like... shame, shame and dread. Why was she running in that nightmare. She slipped down from the metal sculpture she sat on. "What is keeping you from a restful sleep?" Yue hoped the issues of another would keep her own issues in perspective.

Vin smiled a little bit at the question. Truth was lots of things kept her from "restful" sleep. She had never slept as much as she "should" even at honwhere things were supposedly safe. Here getting a real night's sleep was nearly out of the question with vampires and other, literal, monsters roaming the darkness. At least tonight she could pinpoint her restlessness to one thing in particular.

"Nightmares." She confirmed while walking forward to stand next to the long-haired girl. "Just like everyone else lately."
