Sigh.
After some hours of all that he realized his dire mistake and bolted out the nearest window, in the hopes that maybe if he ran back to the hotel as quicky as he possibly could nothing spooky would happen. (He wasn't fond of spooky, you see.) The several minutes it took him to remember which way to go to get back to the hotel--bean first, go from there--were plenty spooky enough thank you very kindly.Somewhere along the way he thought he heard a boom, and then he thought perhaps he knew that boom, or else he didn't and the spooky city was misbehaving around him as spooky things sometimes did ( ... )

Reflexes took hold. Nami slid back down into the crater, grasping a chunk of broken cement in her hand and chucking it as hard as she could manage into the face of the newcomer. Funny, how easy it was to tense up and react, even when your body was very much uninterested in movement. It wasn't until her mind registered the previously spoken "Hello?" that the gears began turning again. She knew that voice...
"BROOK WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE YOU ASSHOLE HELP ME OUT OR IT'LL BE DOUBLE WHAT YOU OWE ME."

After half an instant in which the dust cloud mostly settled, Brook just as suddenly popped back into view with a madly delighted "OH MISS NAMI IT IS YOU!"
He made unfairly quick work of getting himself over the edge of the smoking death-crater, though sad to say he also lacked the sense to do it with a proper sense of fear for his future financial state. "We've been worried for ages and ages, everyone's just going to die when they see you again...although I didn't! YOHOHO~"
Sorry Nami. Reflex.

But she was relieved, and severely lacking in the energy and strength to argue. Even his stupid pun didn't bother her as much as it normally might have, she'd been so worried that they had all been killed. And, on top of their being alive, it wasn't just Brook here--he said everyone, so that meant...
"Everyone else is here? Where are they?"
They'd be paying up a few thousand each for her to be stuck out here alone with Mr. Bag of Bones here, but she wanted to know they were safe before she worried over that..
