Jordan has been having bad dreams every night. At least Benny makes a very good pillow to cry on.
And sometimes Mommy and Daddy come in, and that's good, too.
But Daddy's gone away and the dreams haven't, and promise or not, right now Jordan wants to see Santi, and play with him and his lizard-friend, and have fun.
Which explains why she is outside, by the lake, heading determinedly toward the forest.
Benny has run on ahead, barking loudly.
