Ptolus session 16: 2008-01-19

Feb 03, 2008 15:11

There wasn't a Ptolus game this weekend, due to both broc_dresdroth and ristin being away travelling. I still owe a writeup for last fortnight's game, though.
Contains spoilers if you intend to play The Night of Dissolution )

ptolus, recap, gaming

Yeah, it's tooth-grinding, isn't it? In a just world, Logan would be roughly where Joan is at the moment. What we really need to do is schedule a bunch of dream XP for Logan while he's in the afterlife. I don't know, maybe we could start next fortnight's session in the morning a few hours before everyone else arrives and shoehorn in some heavenly hijinks.

I'm beginning to see a nice way to tie all this into the Big Story Arc as well. Is Marko going to be back by next weekend (i.e. before the next scheduled game), or do you expect to be free then?

I just saw the mention of the slaughtergarde campaign, and had to poke my nose in - its what i've been hacking nto peices for my players, what's gotten us rolling again :9

Having only participated in that one session, I really have no idea what the overall plot of Slaughtergarde is. It seemed like a very classical dungeon-delve, though. Kill the bad guys, take their stuff!

Thats why i'm hacking it to peices and adding in bits and peices and making it more fleshed out. o_x It was just SO much combat otherwise, which is good sometimes, just, not -allthetime-.

Maternal, yes, implying protective. Although I do love the thought of the moodswing to "Heal you? You're not that wounded! Come back when your leg's fallen off!"

Oh goodness, in that case I'm all for learning from natural consequences. Newsflash: "I can't be around for the rest of your life, re-attaching your limbs and re-surfacing your gonads! Tough Titty, as the case may be!" says a newly pragmatic Sister Jim...

You've made me feel much better about my portrayal. :)
