Don't ever be; I understand your reasons very well. I am thrilled that you are my friend. If you are this fantastic at 17, you will rock the entire world in 20 years.
I am glad things worked out to your satisfaction. I think there is a common misconception that all women are huggy/touchy/feely. I'm not, not in male/female relationships anyway. It's great at times but not a necessity in my life. The bottom line for me is I prefer my own company to that of anyone else. That may sound arrogant but I don't mean it that way. I just don't NEED constant reassurance that I am an ok person.

There was much debauchery during my leave but I am back. I've just been rather swamped this last week - especially since I've been down with a horrible case of the flu 4 out of the 7!
I may be heading down your way come March! I'm going to Florida for two weeks with my Gran (staying down at Clearwater Beach) but we're doing it the way we always have - driving down the I-75! We always pass through Tenesse... I'll give a warm "YIP!" as I drive through and fondly think of you.... as my pants suddenly seem a bother. <3
