Sidecar for Pigs Peace was robbed at gunpoint this weekend, please show them support this week by donating money or shopping there, or both :'( those poor guys. I can't even imagine how awful that would be for the people working that day. They're not open on Mondays.

Oh my god, NO! I can't believe that! It's beyond horrible. What sort of evil assholes rob a pig sanctuary?! And the poor volunteers!

It happened at 5:30 or 6 on Saturday evening and they took $300.00.

Doh was at the register and is trying hard to recover. She seems like quite a resilient person but I'm sure she could use all the encouragement she can get.

Thanks for posting this. I'll be making a trip up the 20th for some agave syrup, nutritional yeast, and of course who can resist all the vegan snacks!
