So far, so not-too-bad.... stuck in Snohomish County; will likely make it home tomorrow. But I have heat, power, bandwidth, my work laptop, food, and good people. I'll be all right.

Please tell me it's not true that Sea-Tac has run out of de-icer? I need to fly back to England from Sea-Tac next Monday. Mind you, Spokane airport has been closed down since Friday, so I may be taking the Amtrak to Seattle ...

The airport is open again today, but running veeeeeeery slowly/reduced schedule. Hopefully next Monday will be okay.

It turned out that Sea-Tac was fine on Monday, but eastern Washington and north Idaho were in the middle of yet another snowstorm, so the drive to Spokane was a nightmare and most flights to Sea-Tac were delayed by an hour.

Still, I'm back home in England now, so all's well that ends well :-)

Actually, Amtrak isn't running either! They're snowed in both north-south and east-west.

But it should be fine by Monday, looking at forecasts.
