After the ultrasound, a two hour surgery and checking in with some patients, I head back to my office. It's been a pretty full day, which is almost over. As I walk by Derek's office, I catch a glimpse of him inside. I glance around before I sneak inside, closing the door behind me.

"Hey," I say, smiling at him as I walk in. "I saw you in here and couldn't resist."

I glance up and see Lexie. I knew getting paperwork done wasn't going to last long.

I walk over and sit in the chair across from him. "What's going on?" I ask. "Are you busy? You look busy."

"I've had a long day and have this paperwork," I motion to the pile on my desk. "So not really busy. What about you? How was your day?"
