I jerk into the parking lot of the ER. Well, not the parking lot for me because it looks like there are ambulances here, but I don't care. Sever has been shaking all night and the bleeding from her thigh won't stop, but it's got puss in it too. I think she's sick. I step out to have a smoke when I hear someone yelling for help. I peer around the side of the rig and see a girl on the ground. "Shit," I mutter, tossing my unlit cigarette to the ground.

"What happened?" I ask as I rush to her side. This girl looks like death. "I need a stretcher!" I yell as I check for vitals.

"I..I don't know. She was acting weird this morning. She was really sleepy and she was sweating and she couldn't breathe..and I don't know. You have to help her!"

"I'm trying," I answer. "Back up." I see the stretcher coming, and my adrenaline kicks in as I manage to lift her up. I drop her on the stretcher and start rushing her in. "Nothing else happened? She just woke up like this?"
