I'd actually suggest RentTheRunway.com, they rent lots of dresses fitting your description. Unless you plan to wear the dress many times, then you should buy one and I can't think of anything in Seattle other than Nordstrom, Cache, and Bebe.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm actually coming from Canada so that won't work for me! I much prefer to try things on, too.

If you are intent on buying, I'd try Nordstrom Rack before Nordstrom.

Thanks, I should have mentioned that I'll definitely go there as well! Mostly I'm interested in smaller stores (even mall stores) that I won't have heard of since I live in Vancouver.

Pretty dress in the link you posted!!!

I like Calvin Klein dresses, and have found similar Calvin Klein styles to the link you posted at Macy's. The dresses usually run $100-$200.

Call Nordstrom. Tell them you are visiting and want to try that dress. They can have it delivered to the store for you to try on. They have top notch customer service. You just have to ask for it.

This. Give them 3-4 days to ship to the store. Nordstrom will bend over backwards for their customers.

Very, very true. They WILL get you that dress. Also, Jessica Mcclintock dress boutique inside Westlake Center, it's (less than)a block from the Downtown Seattle Nordstrom. (https://www.jessicamcclintock.com/)
