tattoo artist help

I 'm trying to find the right tattoo artist for my next tattoo. The artist I usually go to is in Portland though and I don't really want to drive that far. I am trying to find someone who would be good doing a comic book style image with lots of detail (one of Jamie Hewlett's images) that will have colour. I have searched google for the last couple

I will once again recommend Jason at Deep Roots in the U District. He did a large piece on my leg that was a copy of a drawing and it looks incredible.

His stuff is amazing and he's a huge comics fan so I'm sure he'd really get in to doing a Jamie Hewlett piece.

Roni @ Hidden Hand Tattoo in Fremont has been doing pro ink for 18 years. She'll know what you want and do it right. I went to Roni for her reputation and her linework. She's very good.
