Thrift stores!

Hey kids, what thrift store in Seattle has the best payout or trade-in value for your gently worn items? I have three bags worth of things that don't fit right anymore; all are in good condition and have some brand value (Anthropologie, Betsey Johnson, etc.). TIA!

Thanks! I was thinking there or Crossroads. Just didn't know which one is better on average.

I love Le Frock for buying. Never sold much there though; may give it a try!

Thrift stores don't pay you or give you trade-ins value.

Come to think of it, I don't know what they call Atlas, Red Light, and Buffalo Exchange (the kind of store you're looking for), but you'll be disappointed if you show up at a thrift store looking for money because they won't give you any.

Anyway I don't really know but you may as well try Atlas.

Buffalo Exchange calls itself a "vintage clothing store." I'm sure others do as well.

Thus destroying any sensible meaning of the word "vintage."

You do know 80's fashion is technically vintage now, right?

Dude. If I remember it from the first time, it isn't vintage.

This what my friends do when they want to sell clothes: Take everything with you up to the Ave. Hit up Crossroads first (http://www.yelp.com/biz/crossroads-trading-co-seattle [they also have a store on the Hill: http://www.yelp.com/biz/crossroads-trading-company-inc-seattle]) since they're higher end, then swing on over to Red Light (http://www.yelp.com/biz/red-light-vintage-clothing-seattle-2 [Also on the Hill: http://www.yelp.com/biz/red-light-vintage-clothing-seattle]) since they are a little on the less scale than Crossroads, but a little higher than BE. Then, my favorite, Buffalo Exchange (http:// ( ... )

Are you looking for a thrift store or a re-sale shop? They're not necessarily the same thing.
