might be faster/easier/cheaper to just do it yourself, buttons are pretty simple usually...
not sure of a place though sorry

If I'd have known I'd have brought my sewing stuff to work. If you have a needle and thread you can come by my office and I'll do it for you.

If you cannot do it yourself, there is a little tailor in the top of the Westlake Center. She might be able to do it in one hour, since it is just a button, if you go there and ask pretty please. Or call ahead of time, and try to ask--it might be difficult, English is her second language and I have never understood her well, although I liked her services. She has fixed things of mine, hemmed nice pants, and attached a button on a nice coat that I wasn't so sure I could do a good job on (unlike most buttons, which do not intimidate me).

Second, just north of Pike, there's a tailor that seemed pretty open to doing rush work. They did a great hem and patch for me, and I'm sure they'd do a quality job with something simple, like a button.

(I'm retarded with a needle and thread, so I understand your not wanting to do it yourself.)

Just talk louder. If you raise your voice, then they will understand your American better.
