*squish* It was worth a try? Sometimes it's just the professor, and if you'd gotten the right one, it might have been a great class. I've had that happen with history teachers before.
*hugs* I feel like I learned nothing major-related all last semester OTL This guy called me out for falling asleep and being distracted in the class. I just feel like everything I'm learning is really general and...idk. When I took Anthro in high school, it was so different. We learned about like Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter and like ancient Rome and Egypt and fucking HAPPY DAYS and different sorts of prehistoric humans and it all just felt RELEVANT to me. He always related them back to the human experience and I just feel like...these classes aren't relevant to me? OTL
I love my English class right now though! And if I want to learn about stories and stuff, I figure that's the place where I'll be able to do it.
Well...*shrug* The first couple of semester are generally core and general stuff. It's near the end of your college term that they really get into your major. *hug* It does sound like it's probably the professor. You had a great teacher in high school, and unfortunately, not everyone is like him which is a real shame. More teachers need to be inspiring :(

Have you taken any other electives that aren't related to anthropology? I'm not talking about the core classes like English and Math, but the "fun" stuff?
