Oh wow, that was amazing. Fire is really a recurring theme when it comes to Spike and Buffy. Also - I never noticed before just how many scratches Spike had on his back the morning after Smashed :-) This is a wonderful video, thanks for sharing!

Thank you! Fire is a perfect theme for Buffy and Spike. And I guess the amazing thing is that Spike's back wasn't more scratched given that they brought the house down, literally - you'd really expect a bit more damage on both of their bodies!

I'm still half expecting another vid set to the same song to pop up, because it seems such an obvious choice! But to be fair, I hadn't thought of it myself until prompted by this round's theme.

Wow!! That was a gorgeous blend of music, lyrics and visuals to perfectly illustrate Spuffy!! You brought out the fire theme to perfection. Especially in the incredible editing! Love how those clips with the lyrics made it feel like a mini-movie. You've really outdone yourself with this. Another Spuffy classic! 👏🏻♥️ (Also, I hadn't heard this song before, it's now an instant favourite, thanks for that too!)

Thank you so much for your wonderful comment - all this praise is making me blush! I'm surprised at how many people have mentioned that they didn't know the song. I guess it must have been a bigger hit in The Netherlands than in many other countries! Or it's just my age ;-) Anyway, I'm glad to hear I introduced you to this classic and that you like it as much as I do.
