Congratulations on your first vid! I hope you enjoyed making it.

Also, congratulations on managing to show Spike's whole Buffy-related character journey in 20 seconds. That's no mean feat! I really liked the different ways in which Buffy took Spike over the edge. But my favourite part is how you used the clips of Spike driving/riding various vehicles to show how he changed -- from his drunk return to Sunnydale (DeSoto), to helping Giles for payment (Citroën DS), to being enlisted by Buffy to help the Scoobies (RV), to helping Dawn just because he cared/promised (motorcycle). All of this, of course, eventually culminating in him taking off on his motorcycle to get his soul. That was inspired!

Thank you! :) I did enjoy making it, though my process could still be improved. But keeping the vid VERY SHORT helped make sure it didn't get overwhelming.

Haha, go big or go home, right? :D I don't think I exactly set out to do that, but I guess a character journey is what happens when all the lyrics are about turning points and change.

Can you believe that I didn't realize the Dead Things clip would read that way until earlier today? :D I was originally thinking loss of control in a more general sense for that second "take me over" line with the Out of My Mind and Dead Things clips - but I guess "take over me" would be a much more natural wording for that meaning, and anyhow it works as it is.

Yess, I'm a sucker for both of his motorcycle moments in canon, and I did enjoy sending Spike on a literal journey. Glad you liked it! :))
