You make a good point, but then there's the scenes from Touched and the last two episodes... :')

Touched is definitely up there too. There are just so many wonderful Spuffy scenes, it really is impossible to pick a best one. Even narrowing it down to a Top 5 would be a challenge, to be honest!

Thank you! Actually it all started with #4, because one of my Bufyverse Bingo prompts is "badass" and that gave me the inspiration for that one, which then led to doing the whole set.

These are fantastic!! Evidently, you are GREAT at making gifs.

The "badass decay" one made me laugh out loud. Then I looked up the definitions of "badass", and I would argue Spike's kindness and love is a "formidable strength", so for me he actually went to displaying more badassery in those 10 seconds... :D

For the gif I went with the more common interpretation of "badass", of course, but I completely agree with you.
