I think you picked some wonderful Spuffy moments for this gifset, I could look at those for a long time. I agree the quote is really fitting for Spuffy! Well, aside from the chicken cutlets. Now if it had been spicy chicken wings ;-)
I'm afraid I can't give you any technical advice because I'm as much of a n00b when it comes to gif making as you. More, actually, because I never even figured out how to add text, so you're way ahead of me on that!
Yeah, I was focused on the second sentence of the quote as far as Spuffy goes, but I wanted to include a fuller text for reference. The cutlet bit could be what you said or Buffy learning how to make a blooming onion. :) Or, well, if you interpret it the way it is in the instagram post, where the chicken cutlet represents finding out what will make the beloved person happy and learning to provide it for them, there's a broader range of options - doesn't have to be food.
Ezgif.com has an "Add text" feature, but in this case the text is actually images, so I used "Add overlay" which is under "Effects".
I have now followed the link and translating the context to Spuffy, I think Buffy learning to make a flowering onion for Spike would indeed be a perfect example. So what do you think would be the reverse -- something Spike would do for Buffy?
Very nice! You picked a lot of my very favorite moments. I wish I could make gifs. I have looked at the gifcam site and it is a bit too confusing to my little dyslexic brain.
Oh no. :/ It's not just you, the site is weird, but the program itself seems pretty simple, I think. Maybe it would work if you just downloaded the thing (or from here next to the word "Download", I guess, if your browser thinks the other link is fishy) and had a poke around? The only things you really have to know is you hit Rec to record and Save to save...
I will have to try this but at this point, with my computer being super slow and old, it would probably be a good idea to wait till I get a new computer. I'm going to bookmark this page, so I can find it after I get the new computer. Maybe sometime next year.
Wow, some of these are so freaking awesome. I mean, they all are, but some are particularly so... and they make think of my thing, a tender piece set right after Touched. I love these, thank you so much for sharing them! And hey, I know nothing about gifs, but I think that font's awesome. :)

:D If we're talking small domestic examples that would be more like the original, lemme think a bit.
Edit: this
SPIKE: (calls) Put a little ice on the back of her neck.
He turns away, picks up his bag of groceries.
SPIKE: (to himself) She likes that.

Edit edit: but that's not something he had to practice to master it. I don't know, what are your thoughts? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
