Well, I for one think that the title works great. My heart hurts for poor Spike (and poor Buffy too, but it's easier to empathise with him here), but that's par of the course for a s6 fic...

Lovely and sad. I loved Spike happily smelling Buffy, grease and sweat and all (and no vanilla shampoo, thankfully) and I can totally see him losing himself in poetry-inspired daydreams like this. Also, I'm with those who like the title. I think it works well as an echo of Buffy's damning "guy in a demon suit" statement.
