Buffy's sticking as close to the truth as possible with being in Giles' care. Passports - yes, descriptions. Very detailed, and children and the wife would be on the man's, usually.

Did you ever read Puddinhead's, "Yours, William"? She's very educational on all things Victorian, and has been my role model whenever I try to go historical.

I kinda wish Cousin William was somebody else - absolutely nobody has been fooled by my lack of subtlety. :)

Thank you!

Poor Buffy, but I am sure things will improve greatly when she gets to England and meets cousin William lol. Great stuff!

Ha ha, I love that Buffy is using what she has learned from her and Willow's Colin Firth-fest :-)

I hope she will be meeting "Cousin William" soon!

At least they didn't watch Shakespeare, can you imagine Buffy busting out the thees and thous?

Everybody seems to think this cousin William guy is going to be important for some reason... ;) I guess I'm not that subtle!

Thank you!

No slayer powers? Oh noes! I hope it's temporary. Poor Buffy. On the plus side, she's currently wealthy-ish, so that's got to be a consolation.

What a relief that Sir Edwin has no intention of leaving her to her own devices. (I'll bet he thinks Rupert Giles, Esq. is in a shallow grave somewhere.)

Of course, the whole I'll do anything babysit/nanny/governess discussion is the best. I wonder what they'll think when they get a load of her needlework. Heh.

However, I'm sure that Cousin William will provide every assistance...

I'm on tenterhooks!

Buffy gets to be a servant so often when she visits Victorian times that I couldn't do it to her again.

I don't think Sir Edwin has much hope either.

Heh, the needlework and the 'feminine' accomplishments, or lack thereof, will definitely be a thing.

Cousin William will probably find Buffy to be very... astonishing. To say the least.

Thank you!
