I'm writing a fic that is a continuation of a story I've already published, and I meant to post it as a different story in the same series rather than a following chapter of the original story. Is that all right for Seasonal Spuffy? Or should it be something completely new and with no relation to existing stuff?

Either way is fine! :) If the previous story is fairly long and it's necessary in order to understand what's going on in the new story, you might want to summarize it in a kind of "Previously On" note when you post the new story, but that's up to you. The main thing is, continuations of existing stuff are definitely allowed. We've had plenty of people posting both WIP updates and series!
