Thank You - it's wonderful to be back with my Spuffy friends - seeing and reading all the work is always such a treat.

I'm sorry that I've been missing from LJ for such a long time - real life has been busy doing my original art projects plus medical troubles but Happy to be back.

This is an interesting way to represent a very heavy piece of canon, and I think it works!

I was pleased with the results - the theme of dark carnival took me to the "shattered and distorted" idea and season six came up immediately. I hope we still have a free day as I am working on a dark carnival theme now.

Thank You very much appreciate your feed back - those painted it streaks did not cover as much as I had hoped but I think the colors and texture did blend well. Unfortunately - I was very late with posting so did not have time to work more on the piece. I do have a revised version which I will post after SS on my page.

Oh, intersting. I like the way it captures the intense emotions of that episode. The painterly brush strokes and cut-out look of the figures add an interesting layer to the image, almost as if someone tried to paste them back together or something.
