relurker, did you set "Security" as "Public" when you uploaded?
If you directly uploaded the video to LiveJournal, I think you should go here, click into the album, then click on the pencil icon next to the album and make it public. Additionally, you might then need to select the video (beneath the blue edit button on the same page), clicky the edit button, and make the video public. I hope that works.
Oh my god, it's absolutely adorable!!! I love it so much!! The lighter! The bat! The written dialogue like it's a silent movie! (I guess it is, at that.) The grrr argh! :D And it's so cute and sweet and I'm so glad you persevered and defeated the trickiness of posting & that we got to see it! Did I mention I love it?
Oh, THANK YOU! I'm so relieved that it now works! I was out of the house and far from the computer for a long time, so checking on my telephone I knew it wasn't working and I couldn't do a thing to fix it :( Without your advice I would still be stranded in the land of the technologically challenged... I guess the force was not with me today, until I could relay on friendly help!
Sorry to steal your title, but it really *is* purrfect! It has Spike, and a cat! A cat that's Buffy! It's creative and original and cute and sweet! SQUEE!
OK, I've taken a deep breath and suppressed my squeeing so I can formulate coherent sentences again. Stuff like this is exactly why I love being in fandom so much. I think the silhouettes and the movements are beautifully done. Did you actually project them on a screen to get the depth in there? How did you animate them? I would love to hear more about the process.
Thank you!!! You are very generous! I'd love to talk about the process, which is a lot of fun, if time consuming. (Expect a PM, but not today, 'cause I have to recover from the anguish of not being able to post correcly ;))
