Yeah, I'm gonna try to finish the last part over this weekend, and then post all of parts 10 and 11 to the beta list. I'm thinking I probably need to go over the whole thing, because it's taken so long to write that I'm sure I've made some continuity mistakes. And there are probably little foreshadowy set up things that I could drop into the earlier parts that would make the whole thing flow better, because this story kinda took on a mind of its own...

I can't imagine trying to keep all that straight mentally over such a long period of time. I always have to reread at least once before picking up something I've not worked on for a long time. *cough, IWSHLY, cough*

Heh, yeah, this is probably the worst possible chapter of the worst possible story to try to jump into this 'verse with! But I'm glad you enjoyed it anyway. :)

It did -- I hadn't really planned on some of that. But I'd been stuck on this chapter for so long that I thought I'd better let the characters do what they wanted to do rather than what I thought they had to do, and as usual, they surprised me.

Having finally read the whole chapter through -- wow. That was intense! I don't know how you managed it with such a large cast of characters and so much going on simultaneously, but that was the most absorbing story I've read in a long time! I'm in awe. Bravissima!
