Hiya: I'm back. Erm. I've been fussing for a month with this fantastic piece of pr0n. The dirty parts were all lined up fine, but I couldn't for the life of me make it click as a whole. And then two days ago I realized I was writing the wrong pairing. I was doing my damnedest to force a potentially really interesting Bangel story onto Spike

I'm a sucker for the imperfection of Buffy and Spike and you capture it really well here, it's messy and awkward but it's hopeful too. Loved it. That would be eliade, and "Subtleties" would be the loose-limbed story I was thinking about. But it really wasn't suave of me to invite comparisons.

If that's self-indulgence please be self-indulgent anytime. I'm a complete sucker for post-NFA reunion fic and that one hit all my Spike/Buffy awkward stumbling towards each other kinks. You may think it's self-indulgent but to me it felt real. Thanks.

There are so many of them that it's hard not to feel redundant and vaguely plagiaristic, but I still love reading different takes, too. Thank you.
