I was eating ice cream while reading. Not a good idea it turns out when I read this line: "which would be … interesting. Probably in a Chinese way, knowing her luck."
Snort/spitting ice cream is never pretty. And makes you choke....

I fell back into this story with little effort. I'm sure I've forgotten bits and pieces (like how/why they all got there...) but the characters and their interactions felt just like home. Looking forward to more of it. :)

And thank you so much for filling my empty space. Will post my effort on Sunday.

Nothing useful to say beyond I enjoyed this :). I'm pretty sure I've read the rest and was sad it wasn't done, so another chapter is fun.

There is another chapter up now, and I am really hoping to get it finished for the last Free-for-all day. It's been hanging around too long. Thank you for your enthusiasm, which really does encourage me.
