Glad you think so! It is actually a crossover, if you know the show with which I've crossed the Buffyverse. I wanted it subtle. :-)

I saw a mention of Twin Peaks in the beginning (is that right?), but mood wise I swear you're channeling Dead Like Me in a Waitress setting. The way Buffy beats the pie and tries to undermine her job, but just can't--totally like George in Dead Like Me. Seriously.

I've worked in lots of allusions to Twin Peaks, but nope! I love both Waitress and Dead Like Me, though, so they might have jumped on board as well. :-)
