Thank you. :) I feel sorry for Angel too. He did sign his right to it away, if I'm remembering Angel S5 correctly, but he thought he was doing it for a good cause.

As the above commenter said, I almost feel sorry for Angel too. It must be tearing him up inside to know that Spike got the reward that Angel himself had always wanted. And now that you've built up the anticipation, I'm dying for "John" and Buffy to finally meet! I'm off to friend you... I hope that's ok :)

Hi there. Thanks for reading. Yeah, I feel sorry for him too. It's what he's wanted for a long time and Spike never cared about it, yet Spike is the one walking about with a beating heart and a cure for that sun allergy. It's got to sting.

Yep. She found him pretty quickly. I picked an area and a beach that has a fairly small stretch of sand so that I could keep this story fairly well paced. Didn't want to have five chapters of Buffy combing the beach. LOL!
