WOW. This is amazing! I love that everyone is heard and it doesn't seem overcrowded or unrealistic. Also, in many strange ways, I'm actually agreeing with a lot of what Davros is saying, but oh can I feel the Doctors' (plural, heh) and companions' horror. This is terrifying and thought-provoking, and I can't wait for the end.

Back in "Genesis of the Daleks," Davros' own people basically put him on trial, to decide what to do with him, and even though they thought he had been rendered incapable of retribution (of course, he secretly had a squad of Daleks waiting to kill them all), every single one of them was terrified as hell of him, and as such, he denounced them as cowards, as well.

And the worst lies that you can tell are the ones that are true. Davros is precisely the type of guy to spot everyone's fracture points - he's an engineer, after all - and then use those against them. What makes his truths lies is not that he sees everyone's negative qualities, but that those are all he sees about them.

I knew I was glad I moved GotD to the top of my Netflix queue.

I thought Davros was awfully underused in "Journey's End," having never seen any older episodes featuring him (I know, what??), so I'm looking forward to seeing his previous incarnations.

It kind of balances out, since he was arguably a bit overused by the end of the original series.

Davros is certainly the Devil's advocate in this one, sowing discord between them all. Let's hope they can overcome the wedges he's driven between them and fix DoctorDonna so she doesn't end up back at square one. Nicely done.

The Doctor once argued that, in some ways, the universe had inadvertently become better, because of the Daleks' existence. I wonder, could the same be said of Davros? Stay tuned ...

Davros = Yoko Ono? This is definitely the most original AU I've read so far, and the blunt truth no one wants to admit to, stripped of all excuses and circumstances... is it quite compelling!

I'm not sure how original it actually is, but thank you. I thought of it as a way of killing two birds with one stone, so to speak ...

Well, I haven't read any others involving Davros yet! (of course, my reading has been fairly Donna and Martha-centric, so...)

You know ... I don't think I've seen any Davros fics either. Huh.
