When I was 13, I started a journal that was only a list of things I like. Maybe starting something like that would be a good addition?

Is your therapist working with you on mindfulness? Mine does mindfulness meditations with me and stuff at the beginning and/or end of our sessions a lot of the time and sometimes I felt it actually helps to ground me.

We're starting it, yeah.

I'm having a problem though - I'm finding that when I attempt mindfulness, I dissociate. I do it during relaxation exercises as well. I've let her know, though, and we're just keeping an eye on it. (But I have *not* told her that we're a we, because that's not the issue.)

That's funny, I've not told my therapist about the DID either, mainly because when therapists hear that, it's all they want to to focus on , and I want this therapy for ME.

Exactly!

Because that's not the problem, the problem is the other stuff! In our case, we're not at all interested in integration, or a dx, or whatever. We just want to learn to work together - and we're doing that, we don't need a T to do that. We need a T to deal with my issues. :P (And others' issues, but right now we just need to get me more stable and functioning properly, apparently.)
