Apparently LittleKuriboh of YuGiOh Abridged fame has a fanfiction.net account in which he writes fairly bad non-hilarious gay porn of yugioh characters. I'm having a really serious time deciding if these are serious or a really weird attempt at a parody that is indistinguishable from the real thing, but I'm learning towards the former ( Read more... )

It looks serious to me. Personally I'd agree with the statement on his profile. Talents aren't transitive and all -- he can be great at stand-up and so-so at serious business fiction.

Also "fairly bad" is probably ungenerous given what you usually find on FFN. Despite the occasional purple flairs, comical sex, and melodramatically contrived imposition of the theme, it is both technically decent and has a novel idea, which is more than you can say for most fic.

Well, maybe I made the mistake of linking the one I considered the best. The other two of note are a roadtrip in a pink ferarri, and a fic where the two characters somehow meet on IM and get drunk and tricked into sexy gay dancing with each other at a club.

It's certainly not bad, but it's not something I'd expect from a such a prolific and obviously skilled writer/VA in another realm of the writing world. Also I got the very strong idea that he was a straight dude due to the fact that he's been married (to a woman!) and makes casually homophobic jokes in his video like every other second. It's the bread and butter of the YGOTAS, I swear it. Now I can only understand that those such jokes were supposed to be self-effacing.

By the loving descriptions of gay sex, I can only assume that he's at least bi - or at least kind of. I did know another straight guy that was kind of like that.

Of course that that's the strong point, but the way he structures stuff is a lot better, especially though he goes wildly off-script at times. I think that there's a certain charm in it, even if most of it is made up on the spot. Especially the memetic bits.
