Not usually the sort of story I'd be inclined to finish reading, but I liked it. I agree, by the way. :-)

This held my interest to the end; and, it seems to show some insight.

High Praise coming from you. Thanks so much. I have not been writing as much as I would like due to my penchant for photography. I'm crazy mad about it, and working on my web site. I will be posting some of it on Etsy to view. I will let you know. Meanwhile, thank you for taking the time to comment. I miss your critiques. Take care.

As I may have told you before, both my father and grandfather were professional photographers. Good luck with your photography.

I don't believe you did mention that! So cool. What kind of work did they specialize in? Nature is my focus. Primarily, macro. Currently captured by the messages that await in tree bark. I know...ya kinda have to be there, then see the picture later and go...mmmm....wow! If you can, come to my next show in August, at Sipology, Broadway and Linden in Long Beach. I let you know dates but the gallery is open every evening. We just started up an open mic night on thursdays at 7:30. You are so welcome to stop by. Be great to finally meet the man behind the scenes. Bring your honey too, she might dig it. Singing, poetry, wierd shit, but that just makes it more interesting. Oh yeah...

They were commercial photographers (not that some commercial photographs aren't artistic/creative) their entire working lives. That's a lot of photos.

Long Beach is a long haul from Michigan, but if I start now....

"the messages that await in tree bark"

Regardless of subject, treatment probably trumps it.
