The only one suffering the curse is Aaron Rodgers since no one outside of Lambaeu wants to give the poor guy a chance.
If you do wanna throw down in some Madden next week, give me call. I'm grabbing the Wii All Play version and probably the 360 one for daily page review.
It should be interesting, though. Favre hasn't suffered a major injury yet (or rather, he hasn't let injuries keep him from playing). IF something happened -- he can't beat the odds forever, or can he? -- it would be quite the coincidence.
(I don't really, er, play Madden. I think I had QB Club 1996 once. So severely broken.)
hence why I'm reviewing the Wii version. EA Sports has rebranded all their Wii titles "All Play" and are supposedly very friendly to noobs, casuals, non sports players, etc.
People with come up with some reason for the Madden curse to continue to exist this year. If Rodgers and the Packer or Favre play poorly or either get injured, they'll blame it on the Madden curse.
