Sounds interesting! anonymous March 29 2008, 01:03:51 UTC
I like the sound of this adventure. It reminds me of why I liked the old Planescape setting and the more ambiguous treatment of good and evil. What do you do when good people (or archangels) do bad things in the name of good? Looking forward to seeing it.

That reminds me of the plot to the latest Fire Emblem game. War between the humans and beast-men awaken the order goddess, who decides that humanity is too flawed and it's time to destroy everything and start over. She can't kill everyone unless she gets teh chaos goddess out of the way first, so instead she turns everyone in the world into statues - except for those who the chaos goddess manages to shield. So your intrepid band of heroes marches to the Tower of Judgment where the order goddess awaits you, and you kick her ass. Awesome cutscenes ensue.

Ike (the blue-haired boy) is totally the man of my dreams. We're going to get married and then I'm going to make little blue-haired sword-wielding babies with him.

FYI this book is why I blogged a month ago about a very similar topic.

Will it have support for Anger of Angels? (Which was my favorite game book for a long while, and, uhm, kind of related. A little.)

Yeah, good question!

Mid to high levels is...what by the way? 7-14? 10-17? 13-20? Something else?

It will support AOA.
I'm estimating 12-18 but how I'm thinking of building it you could expand it lower and higher.
