When you pull up a slow-loading ad, and when I get sick of waiting for it and hit reload, and that crashes my browser, it makes me want to stop posting messages here, you piece of crap!

It's worth the $20/year to get ad free browsing, IMO.

It is, but as jagyr pointed out above all of LJ has been slow and crappy the last couple days.

I use Firefox with the Adblock Plus plugin.

I've been using LJ for years, and didn't know the site had ads until you mentioned it just now.

I'm seriously considering abandoning it altogether. The more people who drop because of ads, the less incentive there is to put up with the ads. :|
