Hearing his mobile phone ring, he instantly knew who the caller was. After all, he had been expecting the call all morning.
The young lawyer gave instructions to his secretary to hold off all matters before he answered the incoming call.
"What did you find out?"
"They're not officially together yet. That man has given Kim Junsu a gift, a mobile phone. Till now, they've gone on 2 dates but there's still a little distance."
"About the man?"
"Park Yoochun. Newly appointed Managing Director of Park Corporation International. Heir to the company. Just returned from Virginia less than 2 months ago."
"And?"
"Childhood friends with Jung Yunho. Their families are acquainted."
"Does Jung know?"
"He's not showing it if he does."
"Right. Keep checking."
The call ended without any friendly farewells, just as it had started without the customary greetings.
He closed his eyes and leaned back in the leather armchair, letting the new set of information run in his mind again. It's going to be difficult to get out if you go any deeper. It's only going to get worse. Stop, please stop.

15th November
Junsu had just pulled the blanket up to his neck and before his eyelids could shut for the night, the rumbling ring tone of his mobile phone announced that all actions towards a good night's sleep have met with a sudden death.
"Junsu-ah, it's me."
"I know. Only you have the number to this phone, remember?"
"... Junsu-ah, can you come out? I... Can I see you?"
A glance at the wall clock showed 11pm.
Junsu had no intention of moving from the nest of comfort he had settled in but something in Yoochun's voice changed that. It sounded like a cry of someone falling, someone in need. "Where are you?"
"The park."
"Okay."
"Junsu-ah!"
"Yes?"
"I'm waiting for you."
"Okay." What could have happened to put that kind of.. fear in you? He promptly changed and was about to leave the room when his other mobile phone rang. "Hello?"
"Hyung." A sniff followed, not a flu kind of sniff. The unstable voice also added to the suspicion that the other had been crying.
"What happened? Why are you crying?" 20 years of brotherhood. He could tell that the other was trying to hold back the tears.
"I.. I miss you, Hyung."
Junsu felt his heart twist at the sudden change of the younger man's voice. It was a side seldom seen, that of a young child needing protection and comfort. "Where are you? I'll come get you."
"I'm at the l..lobby lounge of Millenium Hilton."
"Don't go anywhere else. I'll be there." He's been drinking?
The reflection of light on the car key caught Junsu's eye as he was about to pass the door frame. His mind filled with images of the younger man drinking and crying, he took the key after a moment of hesitation.
A mobile phone fell out of his pocket and landed silently on the carpeted floor just before he crossed the boundary, finally leaving behind the planned hours of safe slumber.
The worry in his heart did not do succeed in preventing the slur of emotions. After all, that had already started when he caught sight of the key.
The Ferrari Tapeta lived up to its reputation, providing the expected speed. A bright red shadow sped down the roads in the heart of Seoul, bringing its driver to his desired destination in less time than it required of other vehicles.
A wrenching pain crawled into Junsu's heart. The silver plates dangling from the rearview mirror, carved with his and Yunho's names, brought back hidden memories with every clink produced. The car was a gift from Yunho and every ornament was a joint effort of the former lovers. As a result, it spent most of the past 2 years in the Jung's garage.

The empty beer can in his hand joined its peers on the ground, the loud clank unheard by the expressionless man.
"Young master, it's 3am. It's time to leave for the airport." Only words to deliver a point, and the bodyguard stepped back.
Yoochun said nothing, picked up his mobile phone placed next to him on the bench and stood up. Looking at the lighted screen, 'Redialing', he pressed the button for 'End' and stuffed the phone in his pocket.
The descending clicks of footsteps announced a dejected departure to the sorrowful beauty of the scenery.

It was near 3am by the time Junsu managed to get the other home, bathed and in bed.
Moving the taller and heavier boneless-like body proved challenging for Junsu. Being totally drunk and not completely cooperative did not help matters.
He breathed a sigh of relief as he watched the peaceful sleeping face of his younger brother. Junsu swept away strands of hair that had strayed onto his cheek. "Sleep well. Everything will be fine again when you wake up, Changmin."
The Tapeta's speedometer indicator swerved to the right. Thankfully, the hum of its engine showed no sign of being overstressed, handling the speed requirement with ease.
The blinking dots of the digital clock display heaped on the anxiety in Junsu's heart as he applied more pressure to the accelerator. 3.10am.
He jumped out and ran once the car came to a stop outside the park's gates. There was nothing else on his mind but to get to the man waiting for him. A man he left waiting for hours. Junsu no longer knew if his actions were just a result of fulfilling his promise to be there or something more.
But only the cold empty bench greeted his arrival. Only the thin frost on the pathway felt his breath. Only the frozen cherry trees around heard the sound of him panting.
Junsu stood stationary, eyes fixed on the pile of cans littered on the ground.

A/N: There, I've finally confirmed that Junsu and Changmin are brothers. Wanted to reveal this later but since it's already quite obvious, pointless to trying hiding anymore.
And yes, Changmin is the lawyer at the beginning of the chapter, talking to a PI on the phone.
Reasons for Yoochun's departure will be revealed 2 chapters later. I need it there, so can't let it out now.
