After my post of great-uncle Jack's letter, I was asked if I had the pictures Jack mentioned. Yes, it was good to get these. :) Especially since the personnel files didn't have any photos with them, so, lucky to get these. And posting them up, to say "they were here."

Hi Sean

How cool that you know a lot about your ancestors.

I don't anything about mine except I have a great-uncle who died in one of the wars (the first one I think) his name was Lawrence Miller and he was my grandmother brother (my mum's uncle) my grandmother name is Myriah Whitaker, madian name Miller. I haven't found anything on the Net...can you give me any ideas on where to start?

Anyway, how have you been? I'm fine, busy. I have TAFE from 9-5 so I'm not on the Net much nowadays.

Wow thanks for that, it was him, my mother confirmed it.

My days off are Friday and I don't know when my next holiday is coming up.

I want to see Pirates of the Caribbean 2 when it comes out. I refuse to see The Davinici Code, its all just a big hype to me. And I haven't read the book anyway.

I was thinking it was about time we should meet up but not this Friday because I already have plans...do you still keep in contact with Peta?

Anytime :) Actually I was pretty surprised to get a photo as well.

Ah, regular days off, must be nice. :) I'm using up one of my days in lieu to go see the film, since I don't have enough flexitime built up.

Still a few weeks until PotC2 comes out, I see - I had to tell a friend as soon as that news of came out, since she was squeeing so much about the first one, having visited one of the places they filmed in. Aye, Da Vinci Code was a bit too hyped up (and I'd be saying the same of *any* movie given the same hype). Know some people who loved the film and book, some who hated it.

Meeting up would be a good idea, yes. :) I've got the week of the 12th off, if some time during that week would be good for you. I haven't heard from Peta in years though.
