I always get sad when I'm away from my cats for too long. Don't get me wrong: I have a great time on vacation, and I remain in close contact with the cat sitter. But the cat sitter isn't ME and I worry about them. Plus, I just miss them. (Except at 6:00 in the morning, when the younger of the two always aggressively wakes me up, demanding food. Don't miss them so much then.)

Alexander Hamilton is my favorite historical figure. So glad he's getting rediscovered!
