Every month I make a post to tell folks what I'm working on, a) because it seems polite, b) because it keeps me accountable, if only to myself, and c) so you will understand why I do not have a social life. This is the October 2015 post. Hooray! It is beginning to cool down, but my state is still constantly on fire

I look forward, as always, to the several million words of fiction each year that spring forth from your fertile (and sleep deprived) mind. But I wonder when a giant entertainment company is going to do the right thing and have you write the stories that need to be told about an ensemble group of talented folk at a school in Westchester County?

i heard on the weather that california is supposed to get a healthy amount of rain this winter due to the el nino phenomenon.

here's hoping that your home stays safe but gets plenty of rain! (i lived in both san diego and oceanside, i remember how landslides can be.)

I had a dream last night where I was reading one of the Toby books and, at the end where they sometimes have those one-page previews of a coming book from the same author (the cover and blurb), there were previews for Lycanthropy and Nativity of Chance as coming soon.

I also had a dream about returning a baby echidna to its mother, but that may be less relevant to you.

I hope your state is less on fire soon (which is when mine will take over; we have had some horrendous days already).
