Just popping up to say I finally got my copy of Pocket Apocalypse and read it basically in one sitting! Yay, so much fun, and especially nice to have things happening in Australia.
(And particularly nice that it was in Queensland, because that way every time Shelby's dad was particularly annoying, I got to roll my eyes and mutter rude things about people who live in far north Queensland... which is something that Melbournians really enjoy doing...)
Finally, on the subject of Drop Bears, which, of course, are not Cryptids at all, but are in fact a completely factual species, I thought you (or Alex) might be interested in this article in Australian Geographer about indirect tracking of drop bears using GNSS technology: http://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/00049182.2012.731307#.VTRbsmaDTIo.
